Why do guys cheat? Emotional reasons, no sex answers please!!! What makes a girl more vulnerable to be cheated on?

In truth,

cheating is not defined by a specific gender, yes I am man, although I do not take offense to your question, one can not generalize that all guys cheat.
Anyone may fall victim to this, look at some of the answeres you received, it is easy to point out which one's have felt the bitter tast of this form of tragedy.

you see I have learned in my life, and I hold this to be true; that when someone does cheat, they are not really cheating on you!
Instead,,,whether they know it or not, they are prooving that they do not posses the strength, courage, or conviction, to be in control of their own mind, their body, their spirit or will. Which in all truth, is sad.

But do not allow this to change you or your heart, and do not think of yourself as vulnerable, although somethings may heart, and somethings may even feel as though it will break your heart, the fact that you can feel these emotions gives you more power than you know, because it shows that you have a heart that is capable of caring and love, so don't ever loose that.

Some men are dogs and some are truly sincere!!! In a relationships, a man wants to be catered to....sometimes even baby-ed. They don't want to hear about issues like bill, buying stuff, etc...they just want the emotional appreciation...or the feeling of being a king to the woman they are with.It's the need for understanding and not trying to be changed by someone that should loves them unconditionally....also sex is a big part of it.When a man feels he has none of these things at home he tends to roam elsewhere to find them for a short-time high.Women tend to think they are doing everything to make their men happy, but it may not be what the man needs/wants or it could be lacking in some way and the man won't say anything in fear of a fuss or fight. To prevent this from happening you have to have good communication on both sides. I found out the hard way when my husband cheated on me and told me why.....he said I didn't make him feel like a man anymore.....that hit me hard.All I can say is pay more attention to his needs, talk more openly ,be open-minded ,but don't be blind with love.

"why do guys cheat?"..... Sorry hun, but guys arent the only ones that cheat. Honestly statistics say that girls cheat more than guys. But newayz to answer the question, guys cheat for many reasons including, they are more attracted to someone at the moment, they feel the relationship iz going nowhere, or for the fact that they just want to. Think of all the reasons why you would cheat (if any) and thaz most likely the same reasons why guys would cheat. When it comes to cheating, there really iznt much difference between guys and girls. Either way, or for whatever reason cheating iz a terrible thing and no1 should do it, no matter what the reason. People jes do not have the morals that we use to.

Guys tend to cheat when they are not getting the communication at home. They start talking to another female and telling her his issues and opening up to her and it leads from there. The female figures that his woman is not taking care of her man then she will give him what he is looking for. Sometimes guys will cheat just to cheat, to see if the grass in greener on the other side of the fence. Sometimes is not anything we have done wrong.
