When I'm in the midst of a major depressive episode, I don't feel like I am alive, I feel like I just exist. Like an emotional coma. It's really horrible.

Stop eating sugary carbs and get up and get moving. It can be really hard to pull yourself up, but you have to get your blood flowing to get out of your stink.

Start small: just do streches in front of the tv for five minutes and then take a walk around the block. Work your way up to at least 30 min. of cario four times per week.

Take some B vitamins and drink plenty of water. Water will give you more energy than coffee. Eat all three meals and two good snacks.

If this does not get you out of your stink in two weeks, you may have a chemcical imbalance and may need to see your doctor.

some people requrie meds, but if your feeling bad because of problems I don't believe you should reach for a pill bottle yet. A little exercise and ajustment in your diet along with healing time could be all you need.

Good Luck! I hope you fell better soon!

Being obsessive about lack of existence and blood isn't an illustration of melancholy, that is maximum possibly an illustration of psychosis - another psychological ailment on the completed chanced on in murderers ( no longer that your a assassin or ever can be, genuinely many men and women human beings have this fascination although truly no longer act out on it, ideal about 5% of them do). this may also be only element of your personality, many men and women human beings (including myself :p) are taken with death for this reason the point why that is continually shown on the thoughts. Adressing your different question, Suicide is an overly contraversal seize 22 situation and that i'm certain your going to get a pair of thoughts of "suicide is a sinful act etc..." (some dry humor for you). you should communicate to someone about this probably an in intensity to chum, a coach you pick or probable even a relative, on the grounds that you mum and dad may "spazze out'" i'd recomend writing in spite of down and giving it to them explaining your worry, this would extra and extra make it a lot less complicated for you and for them to go back to words with the worry earlier than adressing you. truly theirs no longer some thing i am going to do to help or provide up you from doing this in spite of ways plenty i'd like to, that is in spite of you've were given to go back to a decision upon your own, although talking to a pal will help, Goodluck <3.

yes it is common as the common cold. There is help and the help is very very good. Go to the E.R. or call your mental health clinic. There is help and you are not alone at all. I think most people feel like you do, but a lot of people are embrassed to get treatment. Just think of it this way if you broke your leg, whould you go and see the doctor.
So what is the diffrence between a broken leg and being depressed. Get help and feel good.

Welcome to REALITY! Nobody's perfect. (Don't believe what the society/corporate media says.) It's common to fell depressed. Everybody all over the world have their ups and downs. You're normal, but you just got to be in yourself and have confidence...I mean it, seriously. Whenever you make a mistake, you LEARN from that mistake and try again. When you fall, get up, dust yourself, and try again. When you tried your best and you think it's not good enough, Be positive and seriously TRY to make it better. People will see that...trust me on that. You're trying to improve yourself. NOT THEM!! The hell what other people said and think. If they don't support YOU, you don't support THEM. SIMPLE AS THAT!!

Hope that helps and GOOD LUCK.

Depression can be devastating. You really need to go see a psychiatrist. He can discuss with you options such as medication and psychotherapy.

I see a psychotherapist and a psychiatrist. It makes all the difference in the world.

Yep been there

Go speak to someone, maybe they will put you on some medication for awhile, just to get you out of the spiral you are in
Maybe he can also suggest ways to help yourself,
or
Suggest you talk to someone else

Remember you are not alone, others have been exactly where you are and have got out of it
Hang in there
