It really depends where you live. If you live in a fairly hot area and you live in a rural or farm area, then it is likely that you cat is sneezing because of the dust.
If it was wet weather the last few months and then suddenly started drying up, it is highly possible that dust is causing you cat to sneeze.
Some plants and flowers, like daffodills often make cats allergic so this could be another cause.
But i would definatley take your cat to the vet to check if it's annual vaccinations are up to date and to check if he or she has a cold (which is not serious for humans, but farily serious for cats).
I hope you cat gets better though...

I think its allergies, my cat was doing the same thing about a week ago. Both her and I were sneezing, had a competition going on, however we both stopped around the same time. They have allergies too. If your cat keeps sneezing and other symptoms pop up take your cat to the vet asap. I hope all goes well and its just some thing in the air. Good luck!

It means take him to a vet asap! Everyday you sit their and hope it goes away, is another day he may be in pain or worsening. If you love your cat so much, take him to a professional. Sneezing mucus isn't as bad as peeing blood. That is a serious condition an needs to be treated like yesterday. Take him now if you can.

could be allergies, but if you see other signs such as runny nose, or runny eyes, sniffling, etc. it could be an upper respiratory infection (cat version of a "cold"). It is usually treatable with a prescription from the vet of an antibiotic.

My cat does the same thing and I'm positive its just from dust or some other mild allergen. I wouldn't worry too much unless you notice his behavior changing in other ways. Such as not eating/drinking as much or more tired than usual.
Good Luck!

It's probably just allergies, you can spray some normal saline spray up his nose, and wash it out, but that's difficult, as they dislike it. If this continues, contact your vet.
