Human beings should be FREE, and NOT SLAVES to any God. Believers unconsciously DEMEAN Mankind, they bow, they live like slaves, fearing the judgment and vengeance of an ipothetic being they call God, they call Father.
How can they call Father, 'someone' who (allegedly, according to their holy texts) sent terrible plagues (other than a Deluge) to destroy them all?? Is that what a FATHER would do in order to teach his naughty children a lesson???? NO WAY! I'm a mother, and because of that I LOVE my child more than my own life, so, I'd never cause him to perish just to teach him a lesson! NO PARENT WHOULD DO THAT, unless he/she is EVIL. How come that human parents guilty of murdering their own children are justly condamned by Believers too, but the greatest murderer of all parents (their God) is considered innocent?
So, whether their GOD ( supposing, for the sake of argument only, that he exists) is EVIL, or, his character was made up by those whose aim was to control the world...

How are Christian believers called by their leaders? 'Sheep', sheep who should follow their 'Shepherds', without objecting...Now, would a loving father demean his children in such a way? Would he frighten and theaten them constantly in order to make them OBEY? Would a Father claim right to life/death on his own children? How would they call a human parent acting that way?...We, human beings, ARE FREE, we should be FREE, nobody has the right to make us SLAVES. We, Atheists, are not EVIL, we're just trying to defend Mankind's dignity, freedom and independence...We believe there's no God, but even if there was, we'd still stand up against him, because no matter how powerful he may be, HE HAS NO RIGHT TOO DEMEAN US, CONTROL US and MAKE US HIS SLAVES. I was born free, and I'd stand up for my freedom and for Mankind's freedom no matter what. Peace.

God bans slavery and exploitation. The body is a temple and must be respected. God gave power to Moses to free the slaves. The problem was Pharoah and his corrupt authority and hate. We are free to make decisions but are much better off following His laws.
Jesus rebelled against what he saw as corrupt political and religious authority. Injustice was imposed upon Him out of vengeance but that was the fault of the Roman leadership and King Herod, who had it in for him at the beginning. It is all predicted in Isaiah.
I am against the application of religious law. I do not like mixing religion with fundamentalist politics. Other than that, a belief system is a good thing.

Christians stand up for Mankind's freedom too...
Galatians 3:22 But the Scriptures declare that we are all prisoners of sin, so we receive God's promise of freedom only by believing in Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 1:7 He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.
1 Timothy 2:6 He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time.
We live in gratitude of a beautiful gift that has been given for our freedom.
I'm a mom too and I love my children - they came from my flesh!
( I'm grateful God loves them more than I ever could although it's hard to imagine sometimes ) and one day they'll be on their own.
I hope the discipline and instruction I gave them growing up...
"don't throw knives"... "don't play with fire in the living room"... "use your words" ... "it's polite to say thank you and please" ... "enjoy life" will carry them through life with a good perspective.
So is God's instruction also...
Hebrews 12:11 No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening-- it's painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way.
We assume much about the Bible and God... I know I did until I read the whole thing. Then I understood Him and am greatful for who He is.
Have you ever read the whole Bible?
It's easy to take folks out of context... my child has quoted me before but had misinterpreted because she didn't hear the whole thing... heh. heh.
So we also do it to God's Word.

Dear buddy I am totally agreed with your philosophy (and these are the points you mention in your blog) I rely on when I talk about religion and god. As far as your question that when all other will become Atheist, I believe that one day all of them will come to the reality but it will take long, long time, for example Christianity took 4000 years to reach to it’s present form. One thing more that it has been 200 years that it is decided that there is no god but still even after a 200 years there are quite a few people who believe on this philosophy.
But change must have to occur and no one can create a hurdle in her way, although the speed of this change is quite slow. We mankind had many gods in the history but one by one we have denied all of them and now what we are at the conclusion that is “no god”. I myself am a Muslim by birth but no more a believer. These are human inner fears, wishes, weaknesses, utopias those push him to the idea of god. God is a name of a feeling, a situation and nothing else. What we read in the religions are merely fairy-tales and nothing more than that. It has been a long, long time that mankind has been deceived by the people who are using the name of god for collecting more and more, money and power so that they can control human mind and ideas. I am sure one day every one will be an atheist that is more pragmatic form of life.

The punishment for our Sin is Death.
You don't Lose nothing by beliveing in God.
If God does Not exist, a person Loses Nothing by believing He does;
If God Does exist, a person wins Eternal Life by believing He does.
Nothing to Lose and everything to Win.
Here are some answers for Atheists.

Why don't you climb down from your soap box now. You are free, I don't see your chained to any church pew. I too am free and I have just as much right as you to believe in what I choose. There are many different faiths and not all of them believe in the same thing but yet most of the non-believers lump us all together. The God I worship is about love, not vengeance. Man is a far greater threat and yet most the complaints of violence is blamed on God. Cast blame where it belongs, in the hands of evil men who cares for no one.

If you mean "freedom and independence" as freedom to commit any immoral or decadent act, then I'd rather be a slave to righteousness. If you mean freedom and independence from being forced in matters of conscience, then I agree with you, but you don't have to be an Atheist to believe in freedom of conscience.

I don't really understand. Your question asks why Christians can't understand that Atheists fight for freedom... but then you create three paragraphs that basically call their God an evil slave owner that brings death and destruction.
You can't call for peace then start shouting war.
