My battery went out while I was at the gym and this guy whom I sort of like, works there, and i called him and asked him if he could give me a jump because my battert died, and he explained that one of his client's were coming in, but he'll see if he can help me..so he called me back and said, he couldn't because his client was expected to show up any minute , but he did ask around, and one of his co worker's would help me, out...and then after that he went on to explain that he was very sorry, that he wasn't able to give me a jump himself, and that if his client wasn't coming in...he assured me that he would do it himself...now my question is do you think there is more to what he was saying, like does it sound more personal or business, and should that be counted against him considering the fact that he didn't come out and help me anyway...and do you think he likes me...oh no it's not alot to go on..but the fact that he was overexplaining himself as to why he wasn't able to help me

have another concern..the fact that ..I had an appointment with him today...and when I called to confirm..he tells me that he can't do the appointment ..that he set the time for because he has other people...now keep in mind this session was free..and he never called me before today to let me know that the session would need to be rescheduled..plus.....when I seen him a few days ago..he comes up to me and says oh I'll see you on friday...then I notice that when he'll see me he always asks me why am I leaving and is he the reason for it...

It's pretty clear you like him. He, on the other hand, sounds like a nice guy. The way he over explained is just a nice guy thing. Do you know if your his type. I know alot of nice guys that are just nice and not like me any more than a friend.
Good luck though, I would really have to be there to be 100 % sure he isn't just being nice. ; )

In a nut shell. He likes you but he doesn't know you very well. He does not know that you like him. He's trying to get to know you but every time he gets a chance, his work forces him in a different direction. He made a free appointment for you in a free slot to get to know you. But he probably he to take a client because money is tight or his boss told him too.

He's trying to get to know you but he feels like he lost his chance because of his recent work troubles.

Talk to him and show him there is still a chance. Give him a hint that you like him (it'll have to be a big hint, men can be blockheaded when it comes to that).

It sounds like something could happen. Just be patient

It sounds like you made him feel uncomfortable. he seems to want to keep things on a professional basis and you tried to cross that line
