I will not answer your first question, because I do not believe that we are here by accident, nor do I know anyone who holds this belief. For an answer to your second question, I suggest you consult those who are smarter than I. Perhaps the American National Academy of Sciences, who know a great deal about atheism, seeing as 72.2% of them are atheists themselves (1).

It didn't form by itself. An "god" had nothing to do with it. The most complex things start out simple. It is evolution at work, whether you believe it or not.
And for your second question. The difference is that an atheist doesn't believe in a 'god', while the retard does.

All animals have feelings. Even your poor little dog when it looks up at you pouting cause you haven't taken it for a walk. All animals feel emotion. People have consciences because we choose to and it's developed gradually over hundreds of thousands of years into cognitive thinking. Some people feel no emotion because of brain disorders. i.e. a serial killer feeling no differently about the words "rape" and "torture" than he does about "picnic" and "cat".
