My last question being: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AsklZsZjOaS1QmWrQ3IQ2qDsy6IX?qid=20070202225914AA6UDxJ

Obviously it was meant as a joke, but she took it awfully seriously. Is it REALLY my fault or is she exaggerating?

You have a right to FREE speech. I am a Christian. I follow the teachings of Christ. Christ loved people at where they were at. That is why we have John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, whosoever believes in him should NOT perish but have everlasting life." I believe that people have to lighten up. We ought to have the same love that God had and we ought to be patient and understanding. Too many people enjoy being offended too often. You should NOT have to say sorry for anything. You made people think and that is a gift that you have given to them. What they do with your gift is up to them.

Faith is a funny thing to mess with, so you should probably apologize. But really, let them know you were joking and you meant no offence.

I did not answer your last question, but reading it I did not take it as a joke, so I think you owe her an explanation.

Yes...I think she would like that.

It seems she really tries to be your friend, but you keep doing jerky things and that seems to upset her, but you persist in being jerk of the highest order...

So she keeps getting upset because you have not learned any interpersonal skills as of yet...

Perhaps if you were a better friend she would not be so upset in the future...

Screw that, she should be apologizing to YOU. If you tried to convince her to abandon jebus, or whatever his name is, she'd be on her xian high horse and tell you off. Tell her you have much higher standards for moral conduct between friends.

You bad mouthed a friend. It wasn't nice. But if she is a Christian, she will forgive you. If she accepts you for who you are, maybe you should accept her for who she is.
