Pewter is bluish gray; diamond white is pretty much white.

One is bright white (diamond) and the other is an off- white...more like a white-beige (pewter)! Hope this makes sense and helps you out!

If you like one and not the other. If you are thinking about what dress you want, don't let any rule or tradition get in your way--wear the one you love the most. The old saying is white implies virginity. Hey, if you are one of very few that fit that profile in this day and age, then maybe you are concerned about what color stands for what.
