The best thing to do is to let your voice rest for a few days. No singing or yelling, and not even much talking. If your talent show is on Thursday, and you don't sing, or yell or talk too much for the next couple of days, you will be fine.

Green tea, just warm. Add honey and lemon, and some grain alcohol if you can drink alcohol. Drink as much as you can stand. And don't try to rehearse or test your voice until absolutely necessary.
Just before you sing, Cepacol lozenges also work wonders, Sucrets if you can't find them.
I've been singing for 30 years and that's the only stuff that ever worked for me.

Besides, Look at Janis Joplin and the Beatles. They used to scream before a performance to rough up their voices - you never can tell.

Maybe try tea with honey in it. There is lemon tea as well. Try not to talk too much until then and definetly don't try to sing until then.
