It's because it's a pressure, building to the surface of your skin. Like a volcano, ready to explode. If you smooched a volcano, lava would be bubbling everywhere. Same with a zit, except it's on your face. All that pressure, mounting to one tiny point, ready to explode, and you go and touch it? Ouch!

i know this may sound gross, but that means theres alot of puss causing your pimple alot of pressure, thats prob.why they would hurt.
