i have some very very stupid neighbours who live on the floor above us ...truly ,its my exams nearing,and i need to study with full concentration and tempo ,but these people dont understand!
they have come from a village,and god!...i dunno HOW they landed on my head! they play their TV and music 20HOURS and shout at the top of their voices ALL the time...i can even hear their mother giving thier children slaps - they dont even know how to speak ...--i dunno what kinda culture they have!
i am really not used to all this commotion,i live in a quiet house where even a pin drop is audible,my parents dont hear it coz thier room is further away..but i am stuck that way!
i really dont wanna make an issue out of it,but i cant help it!....first when they came i thought they wud settle in to city life,and tried to adjust,but these people are ridiculous!
in exams for some days i tell them to keep it all low and they do comply...but they dont understand that they have to maintain it !

happyKat...u just said..it has gotta do bout the surroundings from where the people come from..i can tell u that they come from surroundings where they can shout out loud and it wudnt make a difference! thats why i said..."village"

the main problem with changing where i live is that evertime i do that,...my parents feel it that i am getting disturbed...n i really dont wanna let them know,i mean,if i can do anything myself only,they wud immediately ask them to lower themselves...but it just wont do that way too much!

If its been going on so long.......just tell them to "shut the phuck up!"
Get a broomstick and hit your ceiling as well......wait until 2am and give them some of their own back.
If you can find their phone number ring them and get up them.
These kind of idiots don't understand anything else.

Since your parents can not hear them in their part of the house maybe there are other parts of the house that you wont be able to hear them.
Some people are loud and do not know it is a bother to others.
Do you live in an apartment were there are other neighboors.? If so then you might try writting them a not and not sign it. They will not know it is from you. You would also have your parents are your landlord to say sometime to them..
You also need to not say just because of where the came from make them the wy they are. "they cam froma village' that sounds really bad and not nice.

To start with I have to tell you that it has nothing to do with them being from the village. I've known people from rural surroundings who have been more polite and sensitive. I've lived in a city all my life and there are people in the city who can be so noisy and obnoxious. Depends on the environment people are used to. Well, that's besides the point. Since you are unable to solve this issue immediately and your exams are right on hand, try to move to a different part of the house and cram up for the exams (to save your grades). When you get your break, do all you can to find solutions and actions to get these people to quieten up and to realize that being quiet is part of living and being sensitive to people living close by to them. Concentrate on your studies, do it in any part of the house that is condusive for now. Do well!

every time they go to sleep, take out your boom box and put it onto an opera station. be sure to crank the music up REAL LOUD so that they hear it and can't go to sleep. yes, take your broom handle and hit your ceiling with it. complain to your landlord, complain and complain and complain.
be sure to call the police at least once a day, as long as this is going on. have them go to that dwelling to tell them to turn down the radio or tv because they are making a nuisance.
tell your landlord that with your legal tenancy, you have the right to what is called 'quiet enjoyment' of your premises, and you do have that right.

I concur with Kay. I believe there is a law that says "you are entitled to peace and quiet in your own apartment." complain, complain, complain--really--to your local johnny law. they (complaints) add up. and if there are enough of them, something will actually get done about it, if where you live, if it is anything like where I live & have lived. If they hafta be like that, try earplugs and hearing protectors until the problem gets taken care of.
but do keep complaining. it worked for me. the guy got a trailer.

if you hear slaps call the cops on domestic violence, if you hear loud noise after 10pm call the cops for a noise disturbance, if the problem isn't fixed they will be forced to move out or they will be fined, it works and it will solve your problem, good luck!

dont worry god will certainly help u.the best thing is to ignore them n if possible change ur room.u cannot teach all people everything some matters have to be left on their own.
