I really do not think he is thinking of the repercussions of associating with a felon. Also in a few years he may change his mind and not become a cop. I cannot imagine why anyone would want to move in with a felon anyway or be associated with one. We have a 35 year veteran police officer in our family. He would never associate with one or live with one. They are not allowed to fraternize with felons. Word would get around, and soon a police officer could be investigated by internal affairs for possible criminal activity. It just is not done.

I would doubt that the law would turn down an aspiring cop because hes friends with a felon.

As long as youy friend has a clean record, he should be able to become a police officer. However, being in the constant company of a convicted felon does not bode well for him.

As long as He is not the one having to arrest the felon there should be no conflict. But it needs a definite answer.

YES YES YES

He is going to be jobless. Living with a felon is not going to help him. It will hold him up. He needs to run like hell! get away from that dude before it hurts him.

maybe he wants to get a head start , since most cops if not for their badges and gun would be serving time them selves
