Elijah will probably be one of them; Moses could be the other. Sounds good to me. John the Baptist was Elijah. So...he could come again. And again. And again.

There are two schools of thought; 1) that it is Moses and Elijah since they were the two on the mount of transfiguration with Jesus. The other is 2) that they are Elijah and Enoch because both of these were translated to heaven without dying in the natural way and the Scripture says it is appointed unto man once to die and after that the judgment. There are good points on both sides but personally I would have to go with the second theory. They are not "reincarnated" they have simply been sent back to earth from heaven to carry out their end time assignment.

Tell your friend we are proud of her. Yes, there will be two witnesses in Revelation 11: 2-11. These two are Elijah and Moses. And they will prophesy for 1,260. days to those that are not saved. This will happen during the Tribulation period which will be for seven years, broken down in two three one-half years. The horrors that take place is beyond what our human minds can conceive. All Saints will be Rapture-up before the Nuclear blast, no water & food. It will only get worse. The ground work has already started. There will be one world order, one religion & many Anti-Christ, so don't be deceived. Repent now while you still have time.

A lot of people believe they will be Moses and Elijah since they will have the abilities to call down rain and to stop it and to breathe fire and call upon God to perform other supernatural acts.

These were perhaps the greatest prophets of the Old Testament, therefore most people I know believe God will use these two as His Witnesses.

1. both witnesses will be unknown strangers..God can use whom he chooses..

2. Some say Moses and Elijah...who appeared with Jesus mount of transfiguration seen by Disciples Peter, James and John.

3. Most say Elijah and Enoch since these two did not taste death on earth.
Both were taken from Earth alive....

Book of Hebrews says man is appt to die once and face judgment. (Hebrew 9:27)
since elijah and enoch did not die--these two men are best bet to be the two witnesses to face the anti christ--the false prophet-- and be killed in the streets during tribulation.....
Both will be raised from death,,,,

Well, Moses and Elijah were the two prophets that appeared with Christ in front of the disciples on the mount of transfiguration. So, I think it's safe to "speculate" that they also might be the 2 "witnesses" spoken of in Revelation. Then again, maybe they aren't.

The two witnesses personify Christian apostles of all times. Do not forget that Jesus sent his disciples two by two. The fact that there are two is also a reminder that there are a variety of ministries in the Church.
The two witnesses are also the two most famous apostles - Peter and Paul, both killed in Rome between the years 64-67 AD. Peter, the first head of Jesus' Church and Paul the apostle to the pagan nations. Note: The book of Revelation was written in AD 100.

The two witnesses are the word of God and the spirit of God who have been witnessing for the time since Jesus ascended and sent the Holy Spirit to live within believers. Chapter 11 is talking about the whole church age.

Most believe Enoch and Elijah. Both where caught away and never died. The Bible said it is appointed unto all men to die once.
So Enoch and Elijah must die.
Nothing is impossible with God.
Opinions mean nothing, Word of God speaks truth.
