I love men with beards, especially if they also have long hair.

Odd but interesting question. I'd always wanted to try a beard but my whiskers were just too sparse to grow a decent one and I hated looking scruffy while it grew in.

A few years ago I went on extended rustic travel and stopped shaving regularly, although the whiskers on my neck and cheeks were sparse, the ones on my chin grew in just fine - albeit a bit slowly. When I returned a month or so later, I had the makings of a fair goatee and let it continue.

For about a year, I trimmed the straggling whiskers to keep it all even, and by then it was well filled-in and I just kept trimming it when it needed. I've had it for about 5 years now and I think it gives my face some extra definition, and I like that.

So far, I haven't had any problems with lady-friends etc. Although I suppose there must have been a few who may not have cared for it, but I never heard anything about that. A few old friends commented on it in surprise the first time they saw me with it, but in general, almost everyone who knew me before, all thought it was a good change.

Sometimes I wonder what it was like before growing it, but I've not decided to shave it off so far - and I'm not sure I ever will. It seems so much a part of me now I can't imagine not wearing it.

I think a neat trimmed beard can be very attractive.
About the Jesus and Moses beards, We have and grow hair for a reason, to keep warm or to stop bacteria from entering sensitive areas which are prone to infections. The Hygiene back then would have been alot to be desired. So it makes sense to have a beard. I dont believe that its was a religious statement, although some cultures have adopted this throughout the ages.

I don't think that Jesus would go for the flow if he were alive now. After all, Jesus was supposed to be above temptation and wouldn't be trying trying to attract women.

I personally am not attracted to men with beards because I want to be able to see what their face looks like. Beards are also scratchy and I don't like having beard burn, especially on my thighs...owie. :) Thankfully for me, my hubby doesn't prefer having a beard.

But hey, there are women who do like beards too! Some women love the rugged outdoorsy look! :)

My husband has a beard and I love it! When we first met he was clean shaven and very cute but as time has gone on he has matured into a gorgeous man with a very neat goatee type beard.
He shaves it off every now and then which is nice for a change but after a couple of months he usually lets it grow again.
Many women I know don't like beards because they can't see the mans face properly.

Well, Jesus isn't alive is he? Back then there was no such thing as a razor so women had no other choice to like beards. I personally think that they look horrible and disgusting. They make men look so much older then they really are. Kissing someone with a beard is awful it makes you itchy.

1st i am not sure what Jesus and moses have to do with women who dont like beards!.. BUT.. anyway... men used to let their beard at this time, it's not a symbol for anything,,
just like Pharaohs women who was shaving their head (if u heard about it)

anyway some men in this age look very sexy in beard ( for example george clony is one of them ) others look depressed! or dangerous sometimes.

Beards were required in ancient Israel. Today, society frowns on them as a sign of rebellion.
I would like to see more men with beards, but neatly trimmed instead of wild and hairy.
Men who decided to wear one, should keep in mind that it is no different than a suit and tie. Neat and clean, you will impress, wild and hairy, you will look like an old hippie from the late 60's and that is unacceptable today.

Who said Jesus or Moses had beards? Have you seen a photograph. Clearly we have absolutely no evidence to support this idea. I personally don't like beards because I think they are unhygienic although there is nothing wrong with a well groomed short version - its the unkempt type that are revolting.

Funny, talkative, kind serious men like me. As a Gemini I do all that with consummate ease, as my red-haired lover will tell you, and a number of GS users will, too. Women like a man who is intelligent, witty, charming, and sweet, but also can think and care deeply over issues and things, and also be very tender and sensitive to them personally. What is amazing is to meet a woman who can accept and appreciate someone who is all of those things and more all at once...
