My dad is getting remarried and i am his brdesmaid as well as my sister (no partner) And her daughter i am married with 2 boys which are going to be page boys. I was just wondering why my dad has not asked my husband to be one of his groomsmen?? they get along great. should i ask if he is planning to ask him or should i not worry about it...... I think my hubbie would be a little upset knowing this as his family is in the ceremony and not him.....

This is a time to celebrate and not let something small cause hard feelings in the family. I think I would let your dad plan things the way he wants them. You might speak to your husband and ask him how he feels. Hopefully he will take it in stride and just enjoy the day. Weddings can do weird things to people sometimes. One thing you might do is ask your dad how your husband could help with the wedding. See what he comes up with. But if it's nothing, then you have to respect that and still keep peace in the family and enjoy the day. I hope it works out for everyone. Best Wishes.

Does your new step-mom & hubbie get along? Do you & step-mom-to-be get along? If all is ok, then I'd take Dad aside and ask nicely, "why not so&so?" Or does stepmom have sons that "presumably" take precidence over hubby?
Or is Dad just caught up in "excitement" of a new relationship?

yes you should ask your dad just ask him or tell him you were wondering who your partner in the wedding would be. and maybe your conversation can start off after that.

I think you should ask your Dad about it, when you have a moment alone with him. That would stop your wondering about it, and maybe cut off a possible future problem.

I think, you'd better talk to your dad first to know who his groommen are. Offer him your husband too. May be your dad has just forgotten about him, wedding is alway excitement;-))
Anyway, it's your dad's celebration, he is to decide))

well, have you tried talking to your dad and asking him? that's the only way you'll truly find out why.
