If you want to gain weight or build bulk and muscle fast that lasts then get “muscle formula protein powder”, this stuff is awesome. Not only will you increase in size, its all natural products so there are no side effects and your weight will go up too. I have been using this for two years, I have put on 65 pounds (over 40 in the 1st year) I am now just under 200 and feeling great. Whether you work out or not this stuff will work for you. Its only available by mail order, I get mine from www.myhealthabcmall.com, go into the sports section and you can find it in there. They have some awesome energy drinks aswell. If you aren’t sure there is a link to email the nutrition coach and he will advise you (you will need a credit or debit card or someone who has one). This stuff also tastes great and now means I don’t get my *** kicked every week.

You need to concentrate on continuing to up your caloric intake. This meas eat more good things, you never have to sacrifice healthy food for high caloric foods when you want to gain, you just need more.

I would say a diet of 160 to 200 grams of protein a day (No More than 200!), and an equal amount of carbs, mixed with plenty of vegies, and hearty healthy foods.

Avoid weight gainers as these are some protein but mostly fat and carbs.

I don't know the answers to all of your questions but I am helping my stepson gain weight now.
We usually drink 2 percent milk but I have him on whole milk, have him drinking two breakfast shakes a day in between meals, and also peanut butter sandwiches or cheese sandwiches.
Plus making sure he eats every meal. Not just cereal but adding toast with it. At lunch, he doesn't just grab a sandwich, he also eats some chips with it, plus drinks some milk.
In the past six weeks he's gained 9 pounds doing this.
