You'll probably more than likely be inside and the heat will make it where you don't care that its cold, you just want to eat ice cream. I used to not understand this either but I've ate pints,banana splits,root beer floats, shakes in the cold weather but it just makes me all happy, I had some of that yummy ice cream! When you have a craving, you'll want it no matter what!

It's the same as, why do people sun-bathe when it's freakin' hot out there? Easy. People just love these activities, whether it is sun-bathing in the heat or eating ice-cream in the cold! Some things are never meant to be understood.

maybe the fact that it is cold outside reminds them of the cold, creamy, deliciousness of the yummy ice cream. Studies show that more ice cream is sold in fall and winter than in spring and summer!

Personally I only like ice cream in the winter, not sure why, can only guess that it melts to fast in the summer..DQ needs to stay open in winter..blizzard would be good right about now
