Yes, if he promises to drop him off later at Micheal Jackson's place.

No, nor would I let him stay all night at a friends house. It was a rule in our house, we didn't have overnight stays except on very, very special occasions and then it would be at our house. I always felt that the kids could play until 10pm, come home, go to bed, and rise early and go right back for breakfast, etc. Most over night stays end up in trouble...too much talk, too much running around, anything goes without dad and mom there. As a result, my kids did not have any negative experiences, but their friends did.

Peace!
10 year old kids are not allowed in convents or Catholic religious houses. If they did that, they would be violating their 'rule'.
Have a grace filled day

I am neither a mum, a dad nor Christian. But I think I would if I know the priest really well and mu child is well-oriented and can protect himself. I could be wrong, though.

Peace

You mean it's wrong that my 10 year old stays at his house 'til 2 am in the morning?

It is too risky

I never knew Catholic priests had homes?

2007-02-02 17:24:36 · answer #8 · answered by Anonymous · 0 1

no...and this shouldn't be a Catholic priest bashing question..

I wouldn't let them stay over at anyone's house who was much older than they were! Duh. I don't care if it's a Baptist preacher, their basketball coach, or the principal! Who on earth would do that!?

Absolutely not because there would be no reason to and besides I protect my children as best I can from predators.
