This is a hard question because old Bibles can often carry warm associations. The Bible though is paper and ink. It can be placed in the garbage, left on a bench at the libary, given to a rummage sale, or if you prefer, mailed to a mission overseas.
Thank you for asking.

I would not throw it away but I would give it to someone who can use it that has not been save long b/c they may can use your bible as a study bible if you took good notes. Somebody can use your bible Pray about it and God will lead you to give it to the right person

I wouldn't throw it away, that's for sure. Donate it. If breaking a mirror is seven years bad luck...boy, think how much bad luck might come from throwing away a Bible!!!! Just donate it and let someone ELSE throw it away. Like, maybe an exhusband or something.

I think you must give it to a non-christian who is unaware of the good news and Christ, who is ready to accept Christ at heart and not by deeds.

think of it as simply a book, unless of course it has a special meaning to you like your grandma gave it to you. but other than that, in my opinion god isnt in the book, so why wouldnt you treat it like any other book?
