Yes, they are safe to take together. However, like most antibiotics, amoxicillin will irritate your GI tract. When compounded with the ibuprofen in Aleve, it might cause some stomach aches or other intestinal problems. Other than that, you should be fine.

Yea... Amoxicillin is an anti-biotic... aleve is a anti-inflamatory. they're cool to take together. Check www.drugs.com for interactions just to be safe, but you should be ok.

Paul, stand close to and then beat your head against a brick wall. Not making any sense? No, and neither is this totally unjustified pay rise for MP's. Does it mean that now regulation to prevent them stealing and shafting us is in place that they now expect us to cough up even more money? It's only allowed if they manage to vote it through. Yes. They are fine to take together. However, next time I would suggest finding out if they are ok to take together FIRST.. before taking them.
