I am a freshman in college and I think I'm in love with my RA. She is the most amazing person I've ever met. Here is the situation. She is a senior and has lots of friends. I don't because I'm from out of state and I'm in my first year. She invites me to do things with her and her friends and she has done some little things like move all the way to the other side of the table to sit near me. We have only been alone together once and I met her mom upon her request. Her friends sometimes joke about things getting serious between us and she just smiles when they say this. She shows a lot of interest in what I like and I've caught her staring at me a few times. I want to make a move, but I feel as though since she is the senior and I'm the freshman and since she is the RA and I'm the resident, she should have to make the move. I don't want to lose one of my few friends here because I thought she liked me. I don't want to miss a chance to be with her either.

Dont hurry to ask her out. Just spend some more time with her as a friend. That would be more than enough in our situation. Ask her out when you are 200 percent sure that she also likes you in that way.

YOU have got to make the move dude!!! Just ask her out to something you and her would enjoy doing! Make it seem casual but a date to where you can have fun talking about things like relationships for example. But you should get some info on if she has a boyfriend or not.

that's a reali common case lol
try to get to know her better and if you're daring enough go ahead and tell her u like her, but small gestures like a sweet birthday present or something can help alot towards finding out wether or not she likes you

what else does she have to do to show interest in you?! let her know you'd like to go on a date. phrase it that way so she'll understand it's not just another time of hanging out together
