if you need flour and sugar...get that
drinks? coffee, unsweetened koolaid, tea bags.
This stuff is really versatile and you can make it into a lot of different stuff.

Well on a low budget eating at home is cheaper than eating out. The kinda foods that would be great on a low budget is:
Veggies: Onions, Potatoes, Frozen Mixed Veggies, Garlic,
Fruit: Apples, Oranges and Grapes.
Canned Foods: anything on sale
Dried foods: Pastas, Rice, Flours (make breads), Oats and other grains.
Other Cheap Eats: Bread, Top Ramen, Cup Of Noodles, Frozen foods- Pizza (with veggies n meats).
It's honestly up to you how you combine foods together to bring you the maximum nutrition you need on your budget. But keep in mind for a healthy diet its 55-65% Carbs, 15-25% Proteins, and 10-15% Fats.

I would check out the produce stores for veggies that were marked down, the bakery for day old products and make a lot of casseroles. Pasta, chopped veggies and ground beef (or other inexpensive cut of meat), cooked with a creme of mushroom or other favorite creme soup, bread crumbs on top and/or toast (best if bread is a day old). Breakfast would be hot or cold cereal bought from bulk food store. Peanut butter sandwich with a piece of fruit (also bought from produce store in the reduced section) for lunch.

Ramen noodles and macaroni and cheese are not nutritious!
Beans and rice
Chicken and calves liver
Buy whole chickens and cut them up yourself
Potatoes and canned and frozen veggies
You have to watch for sales and buy in bulk if you have the storage

i had to do with when i lived with 12 people and we had a budget of $5per day per person, so it worked out to like $460 a week.. we ate alot of pasta, potatoes, rice. not alot of red meat.

cold cereal, sandwhiches, hotdogs, canned soup, hotdishes, rice, pasta, hot cereal, chicken. If your creative and shop at places like walmart or aldis you can make a little money go along way!

ramen noodles, cereal, multi-vitamin, sandwiches, water... just some things off the top of my head. if you make your own food it is always cheaper than going somewhere else.

I don't really like Ramen noodles, but they are really cheap. macaroni and cheese can also be pretty cheap as well.
