Life is dependent on information. All living things come with instructions called genetic DNA. Every cell in the body contains encoded information. The cells act as processing units to decode and act on that information. Information suggests intelligence. How is intelligent information produced by unintelligent matter?

Many do not know that viruses are not living organisms. Viruses are little packages that contain a sequence of information. When a virus enters the body it deposits it's information into a host cell. The host cell then processes that information, which includes instructions for replication. The whole thing is VERY Matrixy.

Please do not think that I am a Christian trying to trash evolution. I am a Deist and believe that evolution does indeed occur within a species, although not the theory that one species evolved from another. I really want to know if there is a reasoned explanation for intelligent information being formed by unthinking matter?

My apologies to any athiests who were offended that I directed this question at them. I just figured that athiests would know the answer since they actually use their brains to think with.

This is cutting edge science. 150 years ago we had no clue that bacteria and viruses cause diseases. Now we not only know, we know which ones.

Amino acids in the presence of an energy source is the basic mechanism being postulated, but you're coming to a bunch of humanities majors asking about biology. It's not a fair question to ask here.

I suggest that you peruse http://www.talkorigins.org to discover some of the answers you're seeking.

Peace.

It's been proven that DNA can not be added to only detracted from which is called mutations. Mutations occur within a species which we see as microevolution. We have yet to have solid proof of macroevolution except in hypothetical models in which one assumption leads to another. There is no way a protozoa like an amoeba (single-celled animal) can develop into a complex celled organism like a human being with intelligence as you say! There is no evidence that its' ever occurred and there is no scientific plausible way that it can occur to our understanding today.

how do you define misleading information? chance is the greatest force in the infinite universe and even human intelligence is often subservient to it . life is not as dependent as you think on information but information is a by-product of life .
whether viruses are alive is debatable ... you =obvious failed to understand the principles of Darwinism and have gone into a dream world which is entirely fine but not as science is concerned .by your view point anything can be called intelligent even poisons how did they know how to attack the biology of life .
your point is silly silly silly ...........Answer neither!

I don't know what you mean by "intelligent information". Information is just information, like a neural impulse. There is no thinking involved.
