Um, sweetie... you've got it wrong... I mostly see people bashing non-believers, telling us to leave their forums. Non-believers are just fighting back, that's all.

It totally runs both ways. There are trolls who make up moronic questions mocking Christianity and then there are weird religious nuts mocking non believers. I'm not a Christian but I'm not going out of my way to mock them unless they really ask for it. lol This isn't a forum that bashes just Christians. It's just a bash forum, plain & simple.
There are a handful of people on here who answer a question that they might not happen to agree with in a mature manner. The rest just name call and do their best to be annoying. If you're a Christian, you believe in fairy tales or a sky daddy and if you don't believe in God, you are deluded and hellbound. Personally, I get tired of hearing both lame insults. No one knows for sure what's right but just about everyone is quick to judge. I believe in God (not Christianity) and *shocker* have a brain and a pretty high IQ.
There's a**holes on both sides. Anyone who says they're the sole victims on here seriously need to read the questions & answer throughly. Both dish it out as much as they get it.

Christians tend to defend their beliefs when challenged and you see this often on Yahoo. It seems that atheists or non-believers are always there to put their '2 cents in' even when the question is not directed to them. I too may have come across as a challenge to atheists by asking their viewpoint, and have been rudely answered. Christians too can be quite judgmental which is not right. Can we not defend our beliefs without being rude and obnoxious.
Peaceful Muslims on this site are bad mouthed too which is not fair. As for other major religious groups that you quoted, well they are not mentioned as much on Yahoo.

because you are the largest religion in the world. and they got that way by forcing their religion on everyone that they possibly could.
and you kind of answer your own question with the statement about the Hindu religion and their worship of many Gods.
Christians (for the most part) see only one way to do anything.
they respect no one else or their beliefs. no matter how thoes beliefs came about. and they are arrogant enough to think that their god can punish someone that does not worship him.
I have my own gods, and when i die they are in control of what happens to my soul.
but Christians ignore this fact and constantly tell me that i am going to hell, how can i go to a place that i do not even believe in.

That is only because you live in the West, which has two main features:
1. Richer environment for reason, free-thinking, enlightenment, atheism, whatever you wish to call it.
2. Christianity is the dominant religion in Western cultures. Thus, those free-thinking individuals are most likely to target Christianity because that is the religion with which they are most familiar.

The reason for Jesus’ warning: certain persecution.like him saying
"These things I have spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble. They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service. And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me. But these things I have told you, that when the time comes, you may remember that I told you of them. And these things I did not say to you at the beginning, because I was with you."
The time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service: Some of the worst persecutions have been done in the name of God, even though God remains unknown to the persecutors.
These things I have spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble: Jesus did well to forewarn, because it comes as a great shock that a gospel so glorious is hated so passionately

Why do Christians bad mouth others more than any other religion? When was the last time I was bad mouthed by a Hindu or Buddhist? (Um, never.) When was the last time I was bad mouthed by a Christian? (Um, about 2 seconds ago.) Sorry, Christians but this world is round not flat, what goes around comes around.

I would say it's pretty equal opportunity among all belifs and their spelling systems. But the reason I think Christianity is focused in on is that most people on Yahoo are westerners, and that's the religion everyone is most familiar with.
Besides, have you ever heard of a "fundamentalist taoist?"

actually christianity isn't the most popular religion or well known, the reason why is because christians think they have the right to get involved with everything, and other people don't really like that.
The most common religions are probably hindu and muslim, think about it, where are the most highly populated areas, middle east and india

because Christians try to force there beliefs on every one weather they want it or not. and if history has show us anything is if you don't believe in there ways you have a good chance of being killed. i have never once been ridiculed by a buddist, Muslim etc... for not believing in what they do. i love a good debate but Christians get angry when i say anything they don't believe in. believe in what you want. that's cool but don't force what you think is real on others. be your self and let others be them selves.

They are only bashed by the non-believers and by the ones tired of intense born agains, who simply go to Church to be forgiven for the bad things they do. They are fake. "I'll go rob a bank, and call my loving, honest spouse a liar and a cheater to cover up my bads, then go to Church to have all my bads washed away" They create the negativity against Christains, along with the non-believers.
