it depends if you are a silly person and you like it then yes

however not to be rude but it sounds like a name for a grumpy old man

I think it's quite charming. I am an animal care professional and I have only ever met 1 or 2 Humphreys in 20 years--so I would call it original to boot...!

In Australia "Humphrey" is a large bear on a children's show. He doesn't talk and dances a lot. I guess if your dog reminds you of a dancing bear, then I think it is a great name.

I love it...very charming an original...of coarse, I am pictureing two things.

One is a gorgeous English bulldog....

the is a dog who is constantly getting friendly with your leg...lol.
