No!

Illegal immigrants are a blight on our country.

The common arguements for illegal immigration are:

1. They do jobs that nobody wants to do.
2. They are only looking for a better life.

This is a con mans arguement, actually it is anti-Amrican and does tremendous damage to our economy.

The US economy is defined as how well off is the average American worker in terms of thier ability to purchase goods and or services. (Meaning how well off is he/she in supporting thier families)

Some how this has gotten twisted into how much profit do US Companies earn. The amount of earning/share has NOTHING to do with the US economy.

Example:
If General Motors were to outsource all its manufacturing processes to India because the labor rate in India was 20cents per Day. They would cut thier costs dramatically and thus thier Profits would skyrocket. However, where does that aid the Average American? The only thing the American gets is unemployed. The Company's profits are split amungst the Wealthy Stock holders. How many unemployed people are Stockholders? Zip!

Same for this illegal immigration.

1. Since when do we applaud breaking the law?
2. Who typically can break the law and get away with it? Rich or Political figures
3. Since when did Factory, Fast Food, Construction, and Janitorial jobs become jobs that Americans don't want to do?
4. These illegal aliens are under cutting the American's minimal wage by working for wages far lower than the law allows.
5. When an American Worker gets paid he/she always can count on "FICA" to be taking a nice bite outta thier checks (TAXES) these illegal aliens pay squat.
6. The illegal alien has no health care benefits so they use tour emergency rooms as thier primary care. If you Mr. Tax payer are rushed to an emergency room in a highly populated illegal alien area your life threatening emergency may have to weight because of the horde of people is in this country illegally ahead of you with some minor ailment overloading our health care system.
7. Oh yeah....they aren't gonna pay for the service either. This also applies to our schools.
8. The Americans taxes are paying to educate the children of these illegal aliens as well. They get educated Free and goto State Universities Free.

How can these illegal aliens be a help to the economy when they :
#1 Take Jobs from Americans (Teenagers especially)
#2 Make little or nothing to reinvest into America
#3 Pay no taxes to support our infrastructure
#4 Suck down our public Resources of Schools & Hospitals without contributing to maintaining them

This is really hard to say. Since illegal immigration is, by definition, not well documented, it's hard to know exactly what the effects of illiegal immigration are. It tends to bring wages down, since wages earned are paid under the table. This is obviously not good for those on the labor side of the equation, but is great for business owners who are willing to toss out their ethics. If you subscribe to supply-side economic theories, you'll probably say that illegal immigration is a benefit to the overall economy. I'm not sure where I sit, but the way this country treats these individuals is appaling at times.

no it's not, it can be good for local economies but not for the national or even state level economy.

there is a myth that it's good for the economy because there is a shortage of unskilled labor in the US.

This is simply not true, what is true is that there is a shortage of unskilled labor willing to work hard for low wages. Small business owners like my brother in particular find hiring an illegal alien very appealing. They don't have to pay income taxes for them or social security taxes, if there is a problem on the job the illegal alien will not go to the state government and complain, they can't.

There are some very compelling reasons for the lies we hear about the benefits of illegal aliens, it's almost sick how the lobbies have united, the pro Mexican lobby and those who want to exploit illegals.

No it's not. In fact, it's bad for the economy. With all of the illegal immigration, jobs are being taken, raising the poverty rate of actual citizens. We also spend more money supporting illegal aliens than we would otherwise. Whoever is trying to brainwash people into believing they're good for the country is full of crap.

Where did you get that idea , from LaRaza and MEChA and other illegals . How can breaking our laws be good for the US .

And studies have shown that illegals ARE draining this country's taxpayers .

Corporations not only want illegals here they also want The NAFTA Super Highway with no borders between Mexico and Canada , going up through the Midwest from TX to Canada , to bring in cheap goods from China .
That's why Bush won't close the borders .
I would rather pay a higher price to keep a legal American working then , to bring a illegal into this country and take their job from them .
Isn't it time for Americans to stick together and to work for each other , then to work for the ILLEGAL immigreant
to break our laws when coming here

Dr. Ackmedia : I like the way you think , and if I could I would give you 30 points . Your right on !!!!!!!

Of course it is. The fruits of true capitalism can only come from the unfettered flow of mobile resources- labor and kapital.

Any intervention reduces aggregate prosperity. That is not to say that there are not any losers, but in aggregate, we achieve greater utility.

To a point. If they are doing jobs that citizens don't want, then why not.
But when these illegals start popping out babies and burning up our tax money, then no, not good.
When these criminals, yes criminals, start demanding a free education, burdening our public system on legal citizens tax money, burning the American flag, hanging up their foreign flags, robbing people, crowding out our kids from the public schools, and so on, its' time the put our foot down.

You're either LEGAL or you're ILLEGAL. If you're ILLEGAL, than you need to be treated as a criminal.

really don't know, but illegal immigration is the only way to get here, because you will die of old age first if you try to come the legal way,and at that point who cares about the economy.
