Be happy for her, and she will be happy for you (hopefully, lol)
I am in the same situation, just don't worry about it. You can't change the marks judges give you, so be happy with them!
Maybe if you both get a 6.0 you can tie for first!!!!!!!! LOL

You and your friend have you have an understanding that a competition is a competition, whatever the outcome, either you or her will do better than the other every single time, and both of you have to understand that it's just a competition -- no hard feelings. There are lots of best friends and siblings who compete against each other in the same sport and one being better, but they still remain close friends/siblings: Formula One - German siblings Michael Schumacher and his brother, Ralf Schumacher; Men's Artistic Gymnastics: American twins Paul Hamm (World and Olympic champion) and Morgan Hamm; Racquetball: Australians Rachel and Natalie Grinham etc.

It's important to understnad that both you and your friend have a fair chance. Wish her tons of luck before the competition, and maybe even give her a gift. This can help to soften things up a little bit. If you're really worried about it, you could do a joint routine as well as your individuals. It can really help. Good Luck! By the way, there is a website that will deliver freee goodie bags to your competion. Go there and get some! Good Luck!

just do the best you can do and if you win you win. she is probably thinking the same thing right now about you like "what if she wins?" i no its tough for you and your friend right now because this competition is probably gettin in between u. if she wins jst be pleased for her and maybe you will beat her another time and she should be pleased for you remembering how you were for her, if you win then she should be proud of you but dont brag in front of her or she will if she ever beats you. maybe you could send her a good luck card to show that you are thinking of her that way whoever wins shell know you arent spiteful or anything good luck in the comp

The same thing happened to me and my friend won. I was happy for her though and I was happy to, because I still got second out of ten people, which is really good. And in the next competition I beat her. We are reallly great friends o we don't get jealous of each other.

Big Deal if you are in the same group i've been a group with TWO of my friends and you know what? We swept the podium! My one friend got first, I got second, and my other friend got third. Just be happy for each other and it will be fine and if you win and she gets upset at you then she's not a true friend. Just make sure you are a true friend and don't get mad at her if she wins

If she wins, then be happy for her, cuase she is your friend. If you win, and if you guys are true competitive friends, then she may get a il jelous, but she should be happy for you! Use your competitiveness in a good way!

well, the same thing happened to me. except it was against 4 friends! it was that bad. one of them beat me with the music and i got 2nd place in compulsory but we never got mad at each other. it was ok, we congratulated each other and got over it. don't worry, it's not that bad and we're still friends.
