doesn't matter your religion, just what would you do and how would you react, and would you think it would be pretty cool?

Well, everyone is part of a prophecy really, but if you mean a really specific prophecy, I'd be scared, but kind of excited, I guess. And pray if the prophecy says I'll get an arm cut off or something. Well, I'd pray even if that doesn't happen, but still.

I'd be careful not to make it a self-fulfilled prophecy because then it may seem like fulfilling a prophecy, but really it is just pretending and filling in the blanks with what you think 'should be' according to the prophecy.

Personally I'd say ignore it until all was said and done. Overconfidence can make you fail. Prophecies can be misread and misinterpreted. Also you may be more than the prophecy imagined.

I am an atheist so it would have to be pretty convincing to get me to believe it. I guess I would just play out my part. I don't think I would think it was cool, I think I would be quite pissed off that I have a major responsibility.

i think at first i would be shocked and ask "whats so special about me that God chose me to do this" i would be very happy and hope to fulfill God's plan.

I'd think that I had fallen into something that could easily be nothing more than a generalized statement of the future.

I'm growing a beard and going to Mexico. do you think Quetzalcoatl was talking about me rather than Cortez and the conquistadors?
