I beg to differ with you because I will be going to hell if the Word of God is not true. My hope is totally in the Truth of the Words and Promises of Jesus Christ. I do deserve hell but I know that faith in Jesus and obedience to His commands is going to prevent that. I keep silent if Jesus does.

At least you recognize the Bible is true. "if your not even guna follow the true words of your own bible" The fact is as in any form of literature there are literary devices used. Context is always the first key to understanding a passage. The Bible in no way says God created evil. Please quote the verse which you think says this. "God mauling pregnant women" LOL again quote the verse you are you referring to.

Be careful that you expect less from the Bible than you do from other sources of literature. When the Psalmist says in Psalm 22 "I am a worm" you really do not think he actually thinks he is a worm do you?

You think all Christians are Homosexual, that is absurd! If you really want a dialog try being more civil and realistic in your questions. You have some deep seated anger issues that would benefit from counseling, Christian or otherwise.

The Bible also says for every man to work out his own salvation. There HAS to be some personal interpretation in order to make it relevant and meaningful to yourself. What I get out of a particular verse or passage may be completely different from what someone else gets. You can't help but bring your background knowledge into anything new you learn, and if I'm in a different place in my walk than you, we're going to be learning something different from reading the Bible. This isn't to say that it's all relative and people can turn words around and make the Bible suit their lifestyles. It IS to say that there must be personal interpretation. That's just part of reading comprehension with ANY text.

As for mauling pregnant women and homosexuality and everything- you have to look at things in context (also part of reading comprehension with ANY text).

Your last statement seriously doesn't make sense. If homosexuality is a sin, then it doesn't mean all Christians (or whoever you're addressing at that point) are going to Hell. It doesn't even mean homosexuals are going to Hell. Repentance and worship are still part of the game, kiddo. Read a little closer and stop putting words into Christians' mouths.

Every word of your question/statement tells me you're not a Christian, and therefore have no idea when one is repeating what thus saith the Lord. Only a Christian can understand how to rightly divide the word of God, the Bible. When we read the Bible, we also listen to the Holy Spirit as he teaches us more than what you see written.

haha.. bible's mouth.

I'm aware of the metaphor, it's just such a stupid one that I had to laugh at you. Yep, I sure do need a high school education- I should start going to yours. They can teach me how to be super smart like you, and use "big" words like "guna" and omit all punctuation.

I think you should learn on your own about why Christians are Christians in the first place. No we all aren't perfect, but who are you to judge just the same as someone who is Christian were to judge you. How can you comment on something you obviously don't understand. Belittling someone's faith is just as wrong as someone belittling you for not believing it. For the record, I don't judge people based on my religion, so you ought to change your question up.

Yeah especially hate when some Christians blame Jews for the death of Jesus when in the Bible clearly says all mankind is to blame.

"Every word of God [is] pure: he [is] a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar." Proverbs 30:5-6

because the majority, not all, of christians will take what they want from the bible and leave the rest. or...they'll just interpret it to their liking which is one of my major disagreements with them. oh well. it is a losing battle, and you just have to ignore those types of christians.
