Is there some kind of gel or conditioner or something that I can use to make my hair straighter. I like my hair long, but it's currently in a state of rebellion against my head.

The secret is oil or hair food. Just put alot of it on your hair before you start straighting it, then comb it out (when the oil is in), and then finally staightin it with you're flat iron. Oil feel's weird and disgusting, but the results is beautiful shiny, bouncy & lucious hair.

Good Luck, believe me it really works!!!

there are some great products on the shelves now for straightening your hair. Hair wax usually works good with a hot flat iron. If you want something more permanent and your hair is not real curly you can use a home perm and follow the directions on the box except for you just comb your hair straight and leave the perm solution on for the 20 minutes or so whatever the time says on the box then rinse comb it straight again and use the neutralizer and leave it 5 minutes then rinse. your hair will be straighter permanently (til it grow's out just like any perm)

um, no. you need a flat iron preferably a ceramic flat iron will do it. gel will just make it more in a moldy shapely kind of mode, so get a flat iron.

Aveda products are my fav! Though a bit spendy, they work like a charm. Here's for straight hair...
