What is Propanolol for and what is Risperdal use for?

i am a student in the medical assisting profession. we use the "mosby's drug guide for nurses, 6th edition".
propranolol's therapeutic outcome is - decreased blood pressure and heart rate. i am epileptic, one of my medications causes my hands to shake, and i use propranolol to stop tremors.
risperidone's therapeutic outcome is - decreased hallucination and disorganized thought. it's uses is psychotic disorders.

Propranolol is what is known as a B-blocker. It bloks conduction at the atrioventricular node of the heart. It is used as a drug to slow the heart down and reduce blood pressure.

Risperidal is a trade name for Risperidone which is an anti psychotic (I hate that label).
