I'm not a guy, but I'm gonna answer this anyways, Chevy
I had a 78 Chevy p/u and I put a 4 on the floor, and this truck and I were best of friends, I could do my own mechanic work on this truck and if anyone tried to take it without my permission, it always broke down on them, but as soon as I would get in it, It would drive just fine. It never liked anyone else but me driving it, this happend alot. I miss my chevy..
Ford= found on road dead.
Dodge- they always broke down alot.
Toyota- is a good truck for small hauling and they do last a long time.
same with mazda, which I have now, been a great truck, over 200.000.00 mile s on it and still going strong.
jeep is good for the moutains. if it isnt top heavy.

id have to go with the dodge ram right now their a real good tough truck ,and hold up well, i will also say the Chevy for this year is a great truck also it beat out the Toyota for the first time in years ,so that's a real improvement on Chevy's part of it ,but either of these trucks are good and reliable right now,and all of them are going to give problems sooner or later but that would be my two choices right there good luck i hope this help,s.

depends on if you want full size or a mini truck, for full size the dodge ram is the most reliable, and if you get a deisel you will get decent fuel economy with low maintenence, for a mini truck your best bet is a toyota, either way 4 wheel drive is a must if you live in the northern states

1937 Ford half ton with 100 hp Mercury V-8. The 1959 4WD Ford pickup second place. 1968 GMC "heavy half ton" fleetside with the big V-8, tweaked, is third. Plastic is for garbage cans.

Dodge Ram beats out everything. You can get a Daytona, or a diesel, there are so many options! I have had my 1997 ram diesel dually since it was new, and nothing has every gotten in my way!
