Because he can... Why not? If they like each other, why does it matter what age they are? I've dated guys twice my age, and enjoyed every minute of it because they were well-educated, smart, funny, generous guys. I just couldn't find the same combination of traits in guys my age until I hit my 30s; now I'm married to a person just a few years older than I.

Because its more fun that way.
I'm 39 and shes 22.
I found that out of all the girls my age they where like My way or the highway.Or they let themselves go with missing teeth with flab everyware. Its gross.
I didn't let myself go I still have my teeth and work out to keep in shape.
I'd rather be with someone who acts young because I'm young at heart too and we'll grow together.
She actually more mature then any of the other 70 women I ever went out with. She's more layed back.Doesn't Get Jealous about me looking at other girls. As a matter of fact she'll point and say there's one for ya.And we'll smile about it.
I have messed around on her before and admitted the truth. She forgives me and I would do the same for her too.
To me that's true love.We except each others faults. Now I have a child with her and are very settled.Been together for 3 years and we are happy.
She was married to a guy that beat her.I told her if she wanted to be with me for real...then she had to divorce she jumped on it.She wanted me to marry her fast.I never been Married so I said whats the rush.I told her she messed up the first time so just take your time.To me Marriage is more important then that.
We never knock out drag out fight and we talk about things. It's the best. And I make her laugh even when shes mad.To me thats very important for a good relationship not age.Why narrow your options. It's hard enough to find the true love in life as it is.Like I said ....I tried over 70 women before I finally found the one.

I think lildevilgirl knows what most of the others do not. The others seem quite content to judge others by age. That's called ageism. If there is a mutual attraction between two adults, who cares about the age difference? I do not. Does she enjoy the company of an older, more mature man? Does he enjoy the company of a younger, more vibrant woman? To each their own.

1. Cause her dad left her and she needs a father figure.
He is probably a looser and cant find a woman his own age so if he gets a young one, he can mold her into what he wants her to be.
2. she worships him
3. helps the neardead think he still 'has it' also known as a midlife crisis
4. So the near dead can brag to his friends that he has a hot chick
5. Because the girl doesnt feel like working so she can take his money to easy street (@ 25 I was a 'renter' with a shytty car in an entry level position...If I could have had my own neardead I could have instantly lept (leaped?) to a 350k house and drive a jag....

Ego... plain a simple. Some men around 45 to 50 and even sometimes earlier... go through mid-life crisis. They begin to need things to validate that they "still got it" and aren't aging. What better than a younger woman? If you believe like most that men mature emotionally a lot slower than women... then half his age may be his emotional equal.

I am 42 and have dated much younger women 30 and under, its simple, Im still single, and women my age have past men & ex husbands & children, that they still have issues with, something I dont need.
i dont have to deal with when i meet younger mature women. Makes them more attractive! Sex is a part of it But Its not sex,
Im not a virgin, Its about not dealing with younger jerks that DID want only the sex, that women who know me like, they get more from the relationship. A Mature Man, Not a dirty Old Man, its the young male that just want to get laid.

Apart from the obvious reason: that 25-year-old girls are generally more physically attractive than 50-year-old girls, the energy and vitality of youth, the chance to see the world through young eyes, these are powerful motivators.

It makes him feel younger. Picture yourself as a 50 year old guy....you find a woman actually interested in you who is 25....what an EGO TRIP!!!!!!! If you are no where near that age then you don't know how crappy it feels to be old. This is just his way to attempt to recapture his youth and it never works. Unless he has a lot of money and she is a gold digger, the relationship is doomed to failure.

These days, the answer can be summed up in two words: NO KIDS. Really. If he's almost 50, he has a passel of brats of his own; he doesn't want someone else's. Besides, younger women are "supposedly" more impressionable...
