First you need a small bucket. If you don't have one, you can probably get one at Walmart near the cleaning supplies. Fill the bucket with warm water, and a floor cleaner like pinesol. Then, dip the mop in the water and just rub it across the floor untill it is clean. You'll want to rinse the mop in the bucket ever so often to make sure you're not just spreading the dirt around. I usually get a towell and dry the floor when I am finished, but you don't have to.

You still live with your mommy dont you? Try hot water and cleaner in a bucket, get mop wet, ring out,and mop. Repeat wetting mop and ringing out changing the water with fresh when needed. Better way for you is too get on hands and knees with scrub brush becuz if you have to ask this ? and dont live with mommy your floors are probably nasty!!

Mops can be dirty, but you wet it, ring it out, and scrub the floor with it. Repeat steps.

I wash the floors on my hands and knees and use simply vinegar and water. Vinegar is a disinfectant and makes your floors really shiny.

Oh and by the way, I don't know if you're serious or not, but I did know someone who didn't know how to mop the floor. She was going to empty the entire bucket of water onto the floor and mop it up. Seriously!

Mops don't work. You sweep, then you take a rag and a bucket of hot water with cleaner in it and mop the floor on your hands and knees with the wet rag.

hot water, soap(not dish or hand) and start by sweeping first. Than clean the farthest to the cloests to where you will be stopping so you wash over your previous steps. LET IT DRY before you walk on it
