its annoying whenever i come to a site with a box and i'll start typing and under it was stuff i typed before (running firefox under ubuntu 6.1)

go to Tools - Option, under Privacy tab, uncheck 'Remember what i enter in forms and search bar'...thats it.

Open firefox and click on tools then click on options ,Then click on advanced
take check mark off of use auto scroll and click OK . close firefox and reopen it .

purely start to form in into the type field till the gray dropdown seems, then use the cursor keys to bypass to the get entry to to be deleted and press the SHIFT key and the delete key.
