she brought it over to my house so i could groom it for her
but the thing is she had already previously cut the cats hair with the scissors so his hair is all screwed up she wanted me to shave his fur so it could grow out again evenly but the scissor cut aren't coming out and his hair looks really bad she doesn't want to take him to professional groomer soo i dunno what to do...his hair is really knotted and nomally i can groom animals pretty good but in her cats case no because his hair is really uneven with the trimming she already did and then he won't stay still long enough for me to get a good buzz...i offered to take him to the professional groomers for her but she didn't say anything about it...i would be able to do it good but the shaver we have sucks...it doesn't shave good...so help what do i do??
she is waiting for me to finish but how do i tell her i just can't because of the scissor cuts she already did?

thanks

the thing about cats is their skin is so thin if you barely nick it , it will open up to a huge gash, then it usually takes 2 people to groom a cat : 1 to scruff the cat so it doesn't move around or bite and 1 to actually shave the cat. if your clippers aren't good ones the only thing you can do is stop. if not you'll only make it worse.

Hi, you should just tell her that she needs a professional groomer or a new shaver because SHE cut the cats hair unevenly with scissors and it would be difficult to groom the cat correctly without either one. You also don't want to put the poor cat in any more unnecessary discomfort by scissor cutting. good luck kitty.

Hello? Take the baby to a professional groomer--and tell your sister to start brushing him regularly to avoid the problem in the future!!! And let her know to keep the scissors away from the poor baby! There are professional groomers at pet stores (like PetsMart) that can do it for $25 or less!

I had a beautiful Persian. I had no problem taking her to the groomer. If your shaver won't work well, a groomer would be your best bet.

Sneak it out and take it to a professional. Maybe next time she won't be so quick to do it herself.
