Unfortunately, I've known men who started to go bald in high school. I'd go to a dr. b/c there could be a medical problem causing the hair to fall out, you need to get some tests to rule that out. If everything is normal, you may be going bald. I'd talk to your dr. to see if they can recommend anything, but I'd also go to your school's counselor so that if you are going bald, you can get help coming to terms with it. I know it's hard to lose your hair! I lost it (temporarily) three times after 2 brain surgeries and radiation. It was so embarrassed at first, bought about a gazillion hats and scarves, etc., but after a while, I forgot about it.
At least with being a guy, you could always shave your head! a lot of guys do that when they start going bald, but probably just as many do it just for looks. A lot of women love bald heads and no one would have to know why your head is shaved unless you want to let them in on the secret.
First things first, go to the dr. and get some blood tests to rule that out. Good luck!

hey buddy! hairspray isnt your problem... your 15? good and bad...
heredity...
does any one in your family have the same problem(older people, dad, grandpa?)
health...
what do you eat???
nutrition and diet have a large effect on your hair... what you take in your body shows on the outside...
hormones
you are 15 and going through a process... (please dont ask me to explain... ask your 'rents)
im 43 and had a big bald spot on my head... only after i took a job that was very stressful and after having a baby and after loosing 40 pounds.. by not eating...
are you stressed???
anyway ... i went to my hair dresser... told me i had allopecia... hair loss due to stress, but true allopecia is heriditary. your 15... talk to your parents... talk to your hairstylist.
i dont think at all that you have alopeccia
i think because you are becoming a man , hormone changes, this is a happening.
i dont think your hair is falling out...
average hair loss is 100 hairs plus!!! unless you see it on your pillow when you when you wake up in the morning, your not loosing your hair.
this is life, and you will be fine.
one note,,, alcohol in the hairspray isnt good for your hair(very drying), so find an alcohol free hairspray.
suave, white rain aqua net all make alcohol free hairspray. im sure some of the new stuff you kids use also make it. youll be fine buddy.. instead of getting on line, talk to your parents, aunt sister or SOMEONE YOU KNOW . you never know who youl meet online, im a friend, but not everyone is...the wolves are out there, be CAREFUL MY friend!~

Yes, you should go to the doctor because:
Other than in older men, balding is usually caused by:
Quite poor nutrition
Excessive stress (find someone to talk to at school too)
In many cases can be helped with daily scalp massage.
Take a deep breath and take a look at some old family albums too just in case some guys in your family started young. Then you will really want to eat right and lower your stress ;-)!!

First off calm down, seriously.
This does happen to some people, this happened to 2 guys I knew in highschool...simple solution? They simply shaved it, thats the lucky thing about being a guy. I rmbr some girls in highschool that were actually balding ... scary scary though, imagine what they were going through, it's harder for a girl. Now what you need to do is go to a health vitamin store and ask for some vitamins that will help enhance your hair growth... I know your young but you could talk to your doctor about hair growth. Definitely see your doctor.
Good luck!

You need to buy Nioxin Shampoo! This really helps your hair from falling out. It will not make what you have lost grow back, but it will keep anymore from falling out! You can find Nioxin at most salons near you. It is very expensive but you only have to use a dime size amount.

You need heat protecting hair products. Try the Paul Mitchell Super Skinny line... And try not to ALWAYS straighten your hair. Like, on weekends if you're not going anywhere, don't straighten it. Once a week use a deep, repairing conditioner...you can find one at your local drugstore.

you could probably try switching hair product brands. there are some shampoos that are supposed to make men's hair fuller so you could try that, supposedly it works. check out walgreens, otherwise you could let your hair grow out longer (if it grows anymore) and then get it cut by someone who knows how to hide thinning

Could be stress and or diet related.
Improve on those two...and then get NIOXIN it stimulates new hair growth even better than Rogaine.
