Thew Christian Palestinians are mistreated bythe Muslim Palestinians.
Jerusalem is the holiest city to the Jewish people, but they are not allowed to pray on Mt. Moriah, the site of the First Temple and the Second Temple.
Only Muslims are permitted to pray on the Temple Mount.
Jerusalem is the third holiest place in the world to Muslims. They are permitted to pray on the Temple Mount.
There are many churches, synagogues and mosques throughout Israel. All religions have complete freedom of worship, with the one exception mentioned above.
Bethlehem (which is not in Israel but is part of the Palestinian Authority) had been primarily a Christian city, but in recent years the "friction" with the Muslims there has resulted in many Christians leaving.
Currently, Jews are not permitted to go to Rachel's Tomb in Bethlehem except in bulletproof buses, although it's just a few minutes walk from Gilo in Jerusalem.

I don't know if they hate Israel, but there is no difference in how Israel is treating Muslim and Christian Palestinians...As far as Israel is concerned they are all Palestinians and no one is asking before when they hold the gun pointed at them what religion they are...Christan Palestinians have to go through the same check points that Muslim Palestinians do,they too had much to suffer from the wall that is being build around West Bank...and it seems that there are some tensions between them and Muslim Palestinians..
Reverend Mitri Raheb runs the International Centre of Bethlehem:
"The international Christian community is a bit cowardly when it comes to Israel. These are harsh words but I think some people have to hear it."

Answer to first one:
Do Christian Palestinians hate Israel as the Muslim Palestinians do?
No - because they are too busy attempting to avoid persecution at the hands of the Palestinians. In recent years, more than 25% have fled Palestinian Authority areas because of religious harrassment.
Does Israel treat them the same way as they treat Muslim Palestinians? Yes, they do - we check all at roadblocks in order to protect our citizens. The Christians and Muslims are allowed to enter Israel to pray, for humanitarian reasons - our hospitals are often as much as 50% full of Palestinians seeking better health care than they receive in Palestinian hospitals - even the Palestinian Security Minister came to Israel when he had back problems. Thousands of Palestinian children are treated in Israel for routine as well as more serious illnesses and injuries.
And yes, when a Muslim Palestinian blows himself up and murders our people, and we enforce a closure to keep them out of our cities, that often applies to Christian Palestinians as well.

First of all, Isreal treats all Arabs the same way, whether they were Muslims, Christians, or even Jews. Take it from me, western Jews (Isrealis) don't like Arab Jews at all and treat them differently. So being an Arab is enough for Israel. Yes, Christian Palestinians hate Israel the same way that Muslim Palestinians. Don't Christians live on this land? Don't they have their churches? Haven't they lived here since long long time ago? The Isreali troops surrounded the church of Bethlehem in order to capture the resistant members who where hiding inside it, can't we consider it a kind of resistence? One of my favorite quote it the one that Patriarch (Atallah) - the representative of the Orthodox church of Juresalem- said: " If fighting for the sake of freedom is called terrorism let them consider me the first terrorist". Before 1967, 25,000 thousand Orthodox Christians were living in Jerusalem, now 8,000 are left of them because of Israel's policies. Actually, a majority of Christian Palestinians elected Hamas ( I wish they didn't!) and many of them insist to re-elect Hamas (I wish they won't). Since the English occupation of Palestine, Muslims and Christians have fought together under the name of Palestinians, many Christians were in the PLO.

As a person who has a palestinian christian grandmother the answer is simple.
The palestinian israeli conflict is exactly that a palestinian and israeli issue not a muslim jewish conflict.
So in the palestinian uprising(intifada)palestinian christians were also uprising against the israeli aggression.
Palestinian christians acctually feel abandoned by their christian brothers ..
When they throw bombs on top of apartment buildings trust they dont give the christian palestinians a heads up.especially with the fact the palestinian muslims and christians are sometimes from the same family.
I hope this helps.

Yes and Yes. The only difference is that the Christian Palestinians get to look forward to second class status even after independence is achieved. If I ruled the world I would give it all back to the British and make a Samaritan (because they are Arabic speaking Palestinians who consider themselves to be the true Israelites) the Viceroy.

You mean try and prevent them from commiting acts of terrorism?
Let's analyze how those good, poor, mistreated Palestinians treated Jews before Israel existed.....Jews were not allowed to go to the temple in Jerusalem. Neither were Christians. Under current Israeli law, Muslims living in Israel enjoy more rights then they do in their own nations. They can vote. They can worship as they chose. They can go to Jerusalem to pray. Where in their own lands can they vote? Where in their own lands do they have the literacy rate that the Israeli Arabs (and Palestinian Arabs) do?
Side question....Iran has been using Jews as hostages for 20 years. They are NOT allowed to worship or pray in Iran. Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Syria...all of them expelled the majority of their Jewish populations in 48'. I don't see anyone talking about that. The difference is that Israel took in Jewish refugees. No one in the Arab world WANTS the Palestinian refugees.
In Saudi Arabia they supported Saddam. They were promptly thrown out. In Jordan (which is Palestine for the record) the refuegees attempted a political coup. The Jordanian king was warned by....ISRAEl. That's why Jordan has become so much more moderate torwards Israel in the 80's forward.
Half of the refugees in that area are not descended from...and have never lived in...Israel. Does that half have to go back to where they came from? They certainly have no land rights in Israel. They just went to the UN tents for food and the schools. The Palestinians had a deal in place for a state. Arafat got greedy. His own people wanted him to accept that deal. Instead they got the intiffadah. This is their reward. It stinks for Israel..and it stinks for them.
My question to you is....when will Palestinians take responsibility for their numerous political mistakes?
My 2nd question is...when will the rest of the Arab world stop using the refugees as pawns, and take care of their own?
For the record.....Palestinians were given half of Israel (by the way....Jews owned %40 of Jewish property in israel prior to being granted a home land...so in reality they were not given very much land by the UN)...they invaded the Jewish half...and got their butts kicked. They lost a war...and they lost land...that's how it works.

Hamas is the source of suffering for Palestine right now. I would say that the Christians who are united with some muslims do care about creating peace. Israel just wants to be left alone. Thats all.

Yes. Israel puts hundreds of 'checkpoints' illegally INSIDE Palestine and make lives of Palestinians like hell. Although they give less trouble to non-Muslims but they still that does not remove their anger.
