I did. I owed the IRS about 10k in back taxes. I filed wage earner and when I later filed my taxes for that year I got a refund. Apparently the money you owe is being paid by the wage earner so they are not allowed to touch current refunds or any other source of income or valuables. They sent three lawyers to my bankruptcy hearing. They will get theirs but if you file bankruptcy and have a good lawyer it will take them 5 years to get it and no interest or penalties.

Do you owe taxes, even then when you are in a bankruptcy you should be able to get a tax refund. Call 8008291040 for any more clarification.

fYes, if you're owed one. And if you owe money to the IRS, bankruptcy won't get you off the hook.
