Ok.. well here is what i think. Rumors are one of those things that people are always going to spead about. Their is not much we can do, but perhaps adopt a motto in our heads, ah, "F#*K what everyone thinks!" Sometimes we have to do that in order to continue life, without letting petty things like that cause stumbling blocks. Life is hard as it is, why place yourself in the position of being tortured by something that you know is not the truth. As long as you know in your heart that the rumors are false, then that is all that should really matter. Dont hold grudges ever, they are wasted energy. Instead concentrate on more important things, like life, and your future! :) Hope that helps....

As awful as it is, I would ignore it. Most likely, people are only doing that to get a rise out of you. Don't give them the satisfaction of letting them know they hurt you. If you explode or try to deny it, they will just get a kick out of knowing they made you mad. Be strong, and keep your head held high. They are probably just jealous of you. It will blow over and in a day or so someone else will be the target of the rumors.

Don't think about it. In actuality, the more you respond to these rumors the more people think they are true. My advice is to calmly tell everyone you know (friends, I mean) that you didn't do it, and that they should know you didn't. If anyone asks, tell them the same thing, and just remain calm about it. Act like no one knows about the rumor, and eventually it should go away.
It would help if you could find whoever started it, and tell them to get off your back, and try to prevent them from starting any more.

Its tough when your that age. My recommendation is don't get freaked out the more freaked you are the more it looks like it is true. Your best bet is if anyone mentions the rumor to you or aska about it..look at them with a nonchalant face and say..Really, hmmm..you would think I would remember something like that. Then walk away. Your best bet is to neither outwardly deny it but, don't for a minute say it happened either.

With every effort you make to try to get it to go away you give it the power that it was intended. You give it the power to make others see what they can do to you. If everytime it is brought to your attention you address it with "no matter what I say, you will believe what you want, so I am not even going to waste my breath" people will be disappointed and it will end faster
