Yes we do.. A quote from the bible says: 2nd Timothy 1:9 ''He who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works but according to his own purpose and grace which was granted to us in Christ Jesus for all eternity." God has a purpose for us all and thats why we live to see that purpose fulfilled.
