Are there times you feel so surrounded by unrighteousness and cruelty, that all you can do is pray for God help to ease the emotion and mental picture you have of it all?

When you get to that point, along with prayer and turning to God, what else do you do to fill your mind with thoughts of Christ and love, instead of all the other things?

The same way God does. Patience.
I believe that the day of the end will come at the right time, and in the meantime, many people are turning away from debauched lifestyles so as to gain everlasting life.

It is sad and disgusting knowing of all the evil and inhumane things humans do to each other, and that the scale of it is so massive.
I wonder sometimes if many people other than us ponder the suffering of little girls sold into prostitution at the ages of 4 or 5 in countries like Cambodia.
Or the wanton dismemberment of the wrring factions seeking to control the diamond trade in Sierra Leone.
The abduction and murder of litte boys and girls in the US, and other countries.
While people on this forum smugly insult each other from their PC's, millions go hungry everyday.

But not to worry, at Revelation, God has promised to wipe every tear from every eye.
Be patient friend, and try to be gentle towards all in your life. That is a way to remain positive and be a helper in this ugly system.

Get a small note book.
Section 1: Passages you are memorising: Sunday - Ps. 1 & 4. etc.
Section 2: Each day gets a special topic - churches/all family members/ friends/government - all levels/healers - lab teachs/misc. school teachers etc. cable istallers.

See how many you can list - w/ names.
Section 3: Each week day gets a continent - then list the countries and pray through those. God will give you a squinge on those countries you are to pay special attention to. Perhaps you can find a Christian pen pal in that country to encourage.

Thank you for being sensitive. God told the Israelites at one point to withdraw into silence / flee babylon. Like you, I fear we near that point rapidly.

yes, I do, but there isn't much I can do. I can't change the world and make everyone in it to see and believe what I believe...to feel my mind with love and thoughts of Christ I pray and read from the bible and tell myself that there's nothing that I can do, but to be who I can and not to judge that this is what God has intended to happen. I pretty much try to ignore all who are unrightouseness and be by myself for a while

Read those parts of the Bible that describe the new heavens and the new earth, where there will be no more bad things. This is the future that all creation is waiting for.

Listen to the songs "There is a day" by Phatfish, and "Great is the Darkness", by Noel Richards & Gerald Oates.

I think pray is the best thing to do.. besides that I usually just talk to my Christian friends about the problem.. and ask their opinion.. I also ask my pastor about it.. after that I usually feel much better..

also when I read bible.. for some reason it always gives me the answer to my problem.. even though not in obvious way but it kinda did give me the answer...

My Friend; It is quite simply "The Natural -inescapeable-
order OF things: The golden ratio will BARELY ever vary
-no matter how hard you might , "kick-&-struggle":
the inescapable of 62.8% "Good"..
versus.. 38.2%, (what you Christians, term), "Evil".

Simply: 'Satan' ..IS a [part/an aspect]
-OF "God": Mother Nature: The Life-Force
! (Hinduism [more than] 'addresses this conumdrum)..

Read! -something other than the simplicity of Catholicolism.

The person that has God in their life is like a house on a rock, that when the floods come, the winds blow and beat upon that house,It does not fall.

God will keep us anchored in the fruits of the spirit.

Don't expect everyone to be righteous. It's impossible for anyone. Approach the world as Christ did. He tried to impact people with who he was rather than completely alienate Himself from everything.

Excuse me, but don't we all stand condemned before God save for his intervening grace? I'm not righteous, I don't claim to be. If anything, I'm overwhelmed with a God that has found it within His divine purpose to open my eyes and enjoy a relationship with Him forever.
