Okay well i like this girl at my school and i have her in a lot of my classes. She always talks to me and walks we me to the classes we have together. She used to have a boyfriend but they broke up and i really want to be with her, but dont know how to ask her. I am such a shy guy that i dont think i could ask her face to face cause ill probably just die of heart failure. I am friends with her on facebook and i am wondering if i should ask her out on there. We are both going to college in the same city an i hope we could have a long lasting relationship so please tell me what you think i should do.

If she smiles when she sees you, then she is interested and likes you. So the hard part is over. Now you should know if there is an interest there. If so, the next step is just to ask her out but not to make it sound like a date. She may need to go slow because she broke up recently with the other guy. Just ask her to go to the cafeteria for lunch with you to discuss a school project or something like that. Or if there is a football game at the school, ask her if she would join you and some friends. From there you can sweep her off her feet, and ask her out to dinner for the next weekend. But don't quite kiss her yet. Wait for after dinner, and ask f you can kiss her thank you kiss for the great evening you had. Good luck. PS. be yourself, and breathe.

You really should ask her in person. It means SO much more. Because you're shy, you may want to have your friends check around for you to see if she like you. I seriously don't recommend writing a note, asking her on facebook, or having one of your friends ask her for you. It puts off an image that you are too good to be seen asking her out in public (in person). You should ask her out on Valentine's day! It would be a great way to start a lasting, meaningful realationship. I hope all goes well for you!

Write her a note and tell her what you told all of us here. Make sure you sign it as you. The worst that will happen is she will tell you that your friendship is more valuable than a relationship. Either way you have nothing to lose and something to gain So GO FOR IT... Just be yourself, obviously she already likes that person or she wouldn't spend so much time with you.... Good Luck

hey ask her out before another guy does. trust me girls like a guy that is willing to make the first move. come on, r u going to give her up because ur to scared to ask her out? and if u dont take this advice you will probaly never have a good relationship for a pretty long time

I would ask her out face to face. I know it seems scary, but I wouldn't accept a date from a guy that couldn't ask me face to face. If you just ask her by writing a note, then it seems like you don't really care that much, and it could hurt her feelings. If you like her, you gotta take the plunge. Show a little manly-ness. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger:)

Yes, it would be ok to ask her this way. Be brief and straight-forward - just tell her that you would like to ask her out, and suggest some ideas for your first date. It is possible that has already guessed that you like her, so perhaps it won't come as a surprise to her. Good luck.

while your walking and talking, just say something like hey you wanna go out with me sometime. just remember the more you ask girls out the easier it will be. and for a long lasting relationship, ice skating is proven to be the best place to go on a first date.

I think you should ask her if she wants to hang out and talk about the school you guys are going to. It's something you have in common and could talk about. I think it would be a little uncomfortable if you asked her out online. but it might work.

This is just my opinion but i like guys who ask you out face to face. and some of my friends like it that way too. i think it shows that you got guts. but do what ever feels right for you.
