Hi, Well when I was younger I wondered the same thing and I found a few things that worked a bit on their own and great together, remind you that genetics has a role to play here but there are things you can do.
1. Food, You know what healthy eating can do for the rest of your body it also does great things for your hair & fingernails, eat well balanced meals from each of the food groups, natural less processed foods. Plenty fruit, vege, cereals, protein & meats (including lamb, chicken, fish, beef), & DAIRY full cream milk and yoghurt are good for you if you include it in a healthy diet, avoid softdrinks, caffiene, deep fried foods with one exception here which is fish, if you will only eat fried fish its better than no fish.
2. Exercise - Surprised ? getting your circulation going is very benficial to your scalp and in turn hair growth, providing nutrients oxegenated blood etc to all the periferal parts of your bod including your head & skin.
3. The big secret is Biotin, check that your multivitamin contains "Biotin" if it does not you can buy a separte bottle of biotin tablets take this every day with your last meal of the day and in a few months you will see a difference.
4. Sleep - 8 hours every night - your bodys had its exercise and is filled with all that great fuel to repair and regrow itself which it does have amazing abilities to do, while you are sleeping is when your hair is growing :).
5. Eliminate scalp problems, if you have any including excess oilyness, when your scalp is busy using nutrients to over produce oils hair growth may possibly get the slow go. You do not need to wash your hair everyday this can cause over production of oils. every second day at the most, less frequently like 2 times a week is better as your scalp will balance its oil production this way, if its not as fresh as youd like tied it back or plait it in the back for a day to extend days between washes. Gently massage scalp during wash. Use warm water to wash out shampoo and conditioner and final rinse in cold water if you can stand it - boosts circulation and makes hair silky
Hope this helps and I just know you will be beautiful at the wedding anyway what ever you do. I really believe if you follow the above if you are not already doing so, you will notice a difference and be happier with your new hair growth, will have other positive benefits also.
Love and Light Alison

There are many methods to make our hair grow faster, shine , glitter in natural ways without using chemicals. Learn here https://bitly.im/aLV2R Men, and sometimes women, notice that their hair is thinning prematurely for several different reasons. Age, menopause, pregnancy, genetics, illness, and other factors all play a role in hair loss. Sure, you can use drugs or you can go in for a hair transplant or fusion, but sometimes the easiest, most inexpensive solution, is to try to stop hair loss naturally.

I suggest going to a health food store, they can give you some natural pills to promote hair growth. (Vitamin pills)
People suggest Mane n' Tail Shampoo (I've tried it and never saw a difference)
I've also heard the one where you should tie your hair up really tight everyday for a month....but don't do that, your just pulling your hair and asking for your hair to begin thinning and fall out....something about it causing the follicle to numb and then die out.
Basically there is not much you can do the only thing I can suggest and that you will probably see a difference is to get some sort of vitamins from the health food store to promote hair growth!
Good Luck!

4 inches is a lot in a month, but the best way is to wear braids, this protects your hair from daily exposure and stimulates the scalp. while your hair is braided you need to take some vitamins and use olive oilon scalp

Angel, the best thing I can tell you is to use good quality products and do it religiously or all the time rather.
Also try products that are targeted toward your type of hair and say they promote growth...
