So far, I find him to be an outstanding choice, but never heard of him until recently. Also, I haven't seen where he rates among the GOP and RNC. I'm going to keep a watch and see what, if anything comes up.

I don't know how long it takes to build a border fence....but if he would just start it in 6 months it would beat anything I've seen so far. The stories that comes from the border towns are like you are hearing of some 3rd world country. How did our great nation ever come to this? AND why the he!! are we doing nothing to take control? We sit and let the lawlessness of the situation escalate. I believe Duncan Hunter has a fresh approach. Quite honestly I don't care what he HAS done if he will take back this country it will be good enough for me.

I am in his district...Listened to 6 tele town halls and been to 1 group town hall and A 1 on 1 meeting. This man is an ex marine who BELIEVES in the sovereignty of the U.S. He WILL close the border!!

Duncan Hunter is looking good. I doubt a border fence can be completed in 6 months though. Maybe he is referring to the shorter fence mentioned in the latest immigration bill.

Building the fence is not a good idea because illegal immigrants can come to America through airlines and ships. Trade negotiations with China must be favorable to the US and not vice versa.

A fence will do nothing to stop immigration. A complete and utter waste of taxpayer's money. You may think Mexicans are stupid and incapable, but they will find alternative ways to get to america.
America cannot take another GOP President. Haven't we learned from out mistakes from Reagan, Bush and Bush Jr.?
