No, because then it would bring in a tighter string for combining religion and state... And I personally want that string to be either extremely thin or nonexistant...

No...so long as they are non-profit . I don't want taxation on religious institutions because that would give them more voice in the Government. I think the separation of Church and State as established in this nation is effective enough that we can afford to promote ALL religions, or non-profit groups, with non-taxation.

religion is non-profit?
yep, let's tax all institutes that make a profit. I'm sure the catholic church with all of its property would have a hefty bill.
Only if the Dawkins Institute is also taxed? Give me a break theist!

for my area, do not decide on the church to have something to do with taxes besides, by using the indisputable fact that ought to easily enable Christians(or different religions, i think, yet one mainly is the most vocal) to create yet another stressful pedestal to sit upon. also, such should be used as precedent to rigidity prayer in college, preparation of nonscientific idea in a technology school room, or banning gay marriage, as they could say "we pay taxes, so hence, there is not a separation of church and state in practice." it ought to technically be authentic at that element. not that that is a impressive argument, yet not in any respect upload gas to the hearth.

Only the ones that pawn their products for sale through advertising in the media in any way shape or form. And we already know they do that.

They are NON profit and there is a Separation of Church and State. In reality, Preachers should also not be taxed. Yet they would have to restrain people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton also.
