I have 4 quotes/thoughts I love and believe in
No.1 To know what is right and not to do it, is the worst form of cowardice.
No.2 Those who hear not the music, think the dancer mad.
No.3 I dance....I fall, I get up I dance again.
No.4 Love NEVER lies
_______________________________________________
This is not a quote, and not sarcasm, but so witty(down stairswit), I overheard it at a social party about 10 years ago....I giggled so much..."one lady said to the other lady...."My dear...if I ever should choose a weapon against you, I most certainly would use the English language"!....I giggled and wished I had thought of that one at many an occassion....

I have too many... here are a few -
People are often unreasonable & self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway.
Love is inexplicable, so let's not put any laws about marriage in our Constitution.
I believe in goodness for goodness' sake, not because you're getting some reward in the afterlife. If you're being good just to get something in return, then what sort of person are you anyway?

Jer 29:11 (NIV) "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
I always think of this scripture when things are bad or I am going through a trial. This helps me to realize that there will be a light at the end of the tunnel.

I have lots, because other people seem to express my thoughts much better than I do. ^^)
Proverbs often contradict one another, as any reader soon discovers. The sagacity that advises us to look before we leap promptly warns us that if we hesitate we are lost; that absence makes the heart grow fonder, but out of sight, out of mind. --Leo Rosten
I'm not afraid of death; but dying scares the hell out of me. --Jack Cleary
Suicide is man's way of telling God, "You can't fire me - I quit." --Bill Maher
When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle. Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me. --Emo Philips
A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing. --Emo Philips
If love is the answer, could you please rephrase the question? --Lily Tomlin
I intend to live forever. So far, so good. --Steven Wright
Being born is like being kidnapped. And then sold into slavery. --William Shakespeare
Bilbo: I don’t know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve. --J.R.R. Tolkien
There are no beginning, there are no ends, only the story that goes ever on, sometimes leaving us behind without ever knowing we had joined. --???

Warfare is the Way of deception.
Therefore, if able, appear unable,
if active, appear not active,
if near, appear far,
if far, appear near.
If they have advantage, entice them;
if they are confused, take them,
if they are substantial, prepare for them,
if they are strong, avoid them,
if they are angry, disturb them,
if they are humble, make them haughty,
if they are relaxed, toil them,
if they are united, separate them.
Attack where they are not prepared, go out to where they do not expect. - sun tzu

"Hide not your talents, They for use were made. What is a sundial, In the shade"
-Benjamin Franklin
I don't know why this one sticks with me, but somehow it does. I guess because I never was good about accepting compliments, it spoke to me. It also makes me wonder though, how modest was dear old Ben Franklin? :)
