Hi, i'm trying to download many videos off limewire, but almost every one of them says "awaiting sources" or "need more sources". even when one starts to download it says it will take something like 20 hours. Is there anything i can do to make them download faster????

I've had that problem before to. The only thing I have figured out to do, which I hate doing, is leave my computer on overnight.

no that sounds about right
some times a movie can take 5 days ,all depends if somebody that is putting out is on line and how many people are pulling the same.
but be carefull with Lime wire ,after the inicial helpfull stage ,it starts to allow other sources tooperate with out you knowledge
and when ever it was on i could not use anything else on the net
neither couild others on the same modem,lime wire dominated the band completely
and i had the lime wire -pro by that time.
impossible to get rid of by that time ,because it is way down into Hikey class roots.
even reformatting and reinstalling everything does not work
in the end i had to replace my hard disk ,and felt violated ,i am sure that i had been properly scanned.
it could be coincidence,but others have told me the same

Hi, Having a High Speed ISP and connection is a good way However with Livewire I have found that there sources are limited not like bearshare.com free edition (there is also a pro version) where the sources are well established. Hope this helps

It depends on how many people are on-line with that same thing that you are trying to download. It also has a lot to do with the kind of Internet you have cable would be the fastest

yeah right click the file u are trying to download and look 4 different sources.. ones with numbers beside them are the best ones to download..just keep trying sooner or later u will get it.

I've had the same problem with Limewire so I switched to Ares P2P, it's much faster.. try it.

Hi. Yes. Stay online . The longer you share, the shorter the download time. Just do not download copyrighted material. That will get you into trouble.
