okay, first off, you HAVE to understand that boys are very different from girls. Its not like they have choice, its just how it is. Boys need to feel a challenge. If its not at least a little bit of a challenge, then its not worth it to them. In your instance, if you're drooling over his every word, then its not a challenge to get you. But here's the catch, you can't be TOO much of a challenge either. Its kinda like a happy medium. So next time you see him, say hi or something and then don't pay him much attention. If he comes up to say something to you, then answer in short responses. Remember, you're trying not to sound too interested, but still interested enough. I'll let you be the judge of what is that happy medium.
Seriously, you have to try this! It really works! If you read the book "For Young Women Only", it will explain everything that you want to know about guys! It really opened up my eyes!

If i was you I wouldn't waste my time on this guy. At the end of the day wouldn't you rather be with someone who knows that they want to be with you for who you are? There are soooooooooooo many fish in the sea. I know that's an old saying but it's true. Listen, if you like the guy..and you don't want to listen to what i just said, I would be straight up and just say "Hey want to go for coffee together" or something. Stop talking about him through your friend, it's a waste of time

Yeah, it is a pretty stupid reason to stop liking somebody, but there really isn't a lot you can do about it. If you want you can play hard to get. The problem with boys like that is that once they get you, they get tired fast because they want a new challenge. Find a new crush.

Guys are quite simple, they like conquest which involves pursuit and chase. Easy girls are a dime a dozen...they want a prize they can stick their chest out to all the fellas.

I'm sorry, but that is just the way guys are. You don't want to be someone who is drooling over his every word, but you don't want to be the absolute hardest girl to get. You just need to be between that. Hopefully everything works out for you!

If you were smart you would run in the other direction. (I'd show him hard to get) I hate people that like to play games. How old is he anyway? 12? He has a lot of growing up to do. Trust me, you are going to like a lot of boys, don't think this is they only one.

Maybe you should approach him and talk with him yourself as opposed to communicating thru a friend... he could just be one of those guys that need that extra help with getting acquainted with a girl he likes..... go for it what harm could it do?
Good Luck~

What he should or shouldn't like is immaterial. The fact is that he doesn't like you for who you are. He has made that clear, and he has also made it clear that he is not planning to ask you out. Hanging around waiting for him to change his mind would be a waste of your time, in my opinion.
