One of the rules is if you're broadcasting the Super Bowl to an audience, the screen has to be 55" or less. It's all in the rules of broadcasting the game.

The NFL (No Fun League) thought maybe a church was inappropriate to show the Super Bowl.
Bars are ok, but churches, hey, somebody could get saved or something, and then they may stop buying the sponsors beer, or stop gazing intently at the half naked women selling products for the sponsors. Can't have people getting set free from corporate sponsors now, can we?

The NFL/Super Bowl Commission has a rule/law that the superbowl cannot be shown on a television over 55 inches or its illegal. It is reproducing it.

Rule are rules even when no one knows what they are. Ignorance is no excuse. Can't collect money for snacks, advertise or any of that sort of stuff. You doing that? better watch it.

I don't know. I guess God doesn't like football.
I don't see why they can't show the game there, it's not like they are charging admission, taking bets, or anything like that.
